Overview
Artists exhibited - Eamonn Doyle, Lucas Foglia, Masatoshi Naito, Kati Horna, Sohei Nishino, Akira Sato and Tim Walker
This collection of avant-garde 1960's works by the influential photographer Akira Sato is exhibited for the very first time in Europe. Taken from the 1971 book 'Woman', Michael Hoppen brings a comprehensive collection of prints to the fair such as [the] great portrait made in 1962 from the 'Sunset' series. Michael Hoppen also presents works from Kati Horna's home in Hungary, the Spanish Civil War and her extraordinary surrealist works produced in Mexico. Following on from the success of his self-published book, the booth shows Eamonn Doyle's photographs taken outside his home in Dublin.
