The protégé of Man Ray always gave fashion photography and advertising campaigns a provocative and surreal twist. Here, you can get a taste of Bourdin's penchant for the bizzare in a 1979 Charles Jourdan campaign shot during a road trip from London to Brighton. Instead of models, Bourdin used mannequin legs wearing Jourdan shoes in deserted locations.
