After being evacuated from the East End during the Second World War, photographer Colin Jones attended 13 schools before turning 16. He was still practically illiterate when he left education, but thankfully for him, he could dance. In 1953, Jones joined the Royal Ballet, with which he went on countless international tours; he married the legendary dancer Lynn Seymour.
